Bai Cat Vang and Da Den - inviting tourist sites in city

The Bai Cat Vang (Yellow Sand Beach) and Da Den (Black Rock Area) tourist sites on the northern side of Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula are very inviting to locals, and domestic and foreign visitors. They are emerging as ideal places for outdoor activities.

As their name suggest, Bai Cat Vang boasts its soft yellow sand and clear blue water, whilst Da Den features many large black rocks heaped together, which creates beautiful viewing angles.

It takes you only 15 minutes to ride on Ngo Quyen-Yet Kieu route to the Tien Sa Port. From the Port, you will go straight around 300m further to the Bai Cat Vang.

You can immerse themselves in the bright blue waters, go for a walk along the beach to feel the sand between your toes, take a deep breath to enjoy fresh air, and pose for photos near pristine rocks.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to go fishing with fishermen or dive to explore the coral reefs.

Being not far away Bai Cat Vang, the Da Den is also popular with locals and visitors.

In the nearby waters there is a wide variety of marine creatures such as red snapper, goby, grouper, littorina littorea, scallop, and “vu nang” (her breast) snail which was thought to be only found on the Cu Lao Cham Island off Hoi An.

Thanks to their pristine natural beauty, the Bai Cat Vang and Da Den tourist sites will bring peaceful moments and unforgettable experience for all visitors.

Apart from a beautiful beach for sunbathing and swimming, Da Den is also an exellent place for building a campfire or for organising interesting teambuilding activities.
